Radio Button Modern Control does not sort properly?

Hi all,

anybody came across that issue already?

I am using the following formula to get the data:

SortByColumns(Filter('My Options','Value List'.'Internal Id' = "yes-no"),"sortorder",SortOrder.Ascending)

The formula itself seems to be working just fine. I need to sort via my sort order.

The modern radio button control just does not get effected by the sort order anyhow (The left one below)

The classic one works fine.

Is there a limit with lookups for the new designer or some other things which are not documented?

Hello @Lucas001,

Could you please confirm? That SortOrder column type needs to be Number. If not, could you please update to number.

Please try below:

Hi @Kalathiya,

it's confirmed number column.

Your formula does work as well in the classic control but shows no value at all in the modern one.

Hi @Kalathiya,

all other fields are working except the default name field for that button.

Checked it but still did not get it to work. I I am currently figuring out how to replicate the issue as I did before.

Seems like there is an issue with an initial state set in the app or something like that.

I checked the code behind. The only thing I can see is that the FieldDisplayName seems to be different. I have not be able to change that one to the same in the malfunctioning one.

Any other idea?

Solution was removing and adding or using the classic one.
For now I used the classic radio button as that one is working fine. There are not many changes to the new one either way.
