We’re attempting to embed a canvas app inside a model-driven form, but the ModelDrivenFormIntegration control no longer appears or functions as expected.

Here’s what we’ve tried so far:

Using both modern and classic form editors — the “Add Canvas App” option is not available.
Existing embedded canvas apps that previously worked now fail to load or display blank.
The ModelDrivenFormIntegration object is not exposed inside the canvas app, so ModelDrivenFormIntegration.Item and related properties can’t be referenced.
As a workaround, we followed a YouTube video suggesting appending &is-hosted=true to the canvas app URL when embedding. This does cause the ModelDrivenFormIntegration control to appear, but it doesn’t seem to actually connect to the form or return data — effectively nonfunctional.

We’re trying to confirm whether:

ModelDrivenFormIntegration has been deprecated, replaced, or disabled by default.
There is any supported workaround or new approach to achieve the same functionality (accessing the form record from an embedded canvas app).
Any feature flag, preview setting, or environment configuration is required to re-enable it.

Environment: Power Apps (Dataverse), Model-Driven App form editor.
