Office 365 E-mail with attachment -> save attachment to FTP

Hi,

I am already struggling for 2 weeks with Flow to get an attachment from an Office 365 account which is received in the inbox and the attachment should be saved to an FTP server. If possible, a requirement to be honest, the name of the attachment should be changed into something unique.

Is this even possible? If this is possible, could someone help me to get this operational?

Soon i will not have any hair on my head from pulling everything out of stress.

Thank you in advanced

Regards, Remco

    Hi @RemcoVisscher,

Do you want to save the attachment of an email to an FTP server?

I have made a test on my side and please take a try with the following workaround:

    • Add a "When a new email arrives" trigger, Has Attachment field set to Yes and Include Attachments set Yes.
    • Add a "Apply to each", input parameter set to Attachments dynamic content of the trigger.
    • Within "Apply to each", add a "Compose" action, Inputs set to following formula:
    concat('.',split(items('Apply_to_each')?['Name'],'.')[1])

Add a "Create file" action of FTP connector, specify Folder Path, File name set to following formula:9.JPGFile content field set to Content dynamic content of the trigger.

Note: Within File name field of "Create file" action, type the UniqueName firstly and then type the Output dynamic content of "Compose" action, please make sure that there is no space between UniqueName and Output dynamic content when typing UniqueName and Output dynamic content. In addition, the "Compose" action would return the extension name of the attachment file of the email.

    Best regards,

    Kris

Hello.  I have successfully setup getting the attachments from an email over to FTP, but I would also like to get a copy of the actual email message that goes with it.

    Is this possible to do?
