After what seems like a successful registration ("you are already licensed to use Copilot Studio") a spinning wheel appears and a couple of seconds later:

There might be a (quite simple) solution to your problem: I was facing the same error & posted it within the community. As one of the members pointed out, this error occurs, if your environment is set up within a regin that is not supported (see https://dynamics.microsoft.com/en-us/availability-reports/georeport/ for supported regions). So once I fixed the regional settings, it worked perfectly fine for me.
