8We have a model driven app in our power apps environment, we want to be able to generate new form fields in that app based on some JSON data we have stored in a dataverse table. The idea is we query the dataverse table on form load check the JSON and build the form out based on what the JSON is telling us.
Is this possible using a model driven form app in power apps? I've read PCF might be a way to do it, or even a canvas app which we cant use as we are restricted to model driven. We need the fields to be created as and when, this is not a create the fields before and show and hide them, the fields will be created off the back of the json.
Storage wise, I was thinking of storing the forms files using JSON in a column that way we dont need to worry about adding new columns each time which sounds like it would be impossible anyway.
Anyone in or outside Microsoft able to give me some advice on this before I start going down the rabbit hole?
