Hello,
I am attempting to build a survey using Power Apps for the college I work at to get feedback from the students about their individual teachers. What we are hoping to achieve is for the survey to know which teachers a student has (pulling this information through from SharePoint or Excel) and tailor the questions accordingly? E.g. if a student has 3 teachers (most have more than this) then they will receive a survey that has feedback questions about their first teacher, followed by the second and third teacher.
Not entirely sure if this would be possible with Power Apps but any input would be much appreciated!
Yes, totally possible.
But you will need to adjust your database (SharePoint or Dataverse preferred) so that you can get relationships between different tables.
Thus, you will be able to join the tables through a common identifier. After that, it will be enough to count the number of professors that a certain student has. Other information, such as the teacher's name, etc., can also be obtained from the table created through the relationship.
Take a look at the schematic below:
If you need more help, send us some screenshots of your app or more details so we can think of a better way.
