Timezone issues Create Group Event (v2)

Hello,

I'm hoping someone can help with this. When creating an event in a 365 Group Calendar with Create Group Event (v2) the event appears at the correct time in group calendar but the appointment time detail has UTC time when looking at the event from Outlook, like this:

UTC outlook.png

The event Start and End dates are created with these actions like these, (datasource is SP column).

I had originally set my timezone as the destination but that made my appoinment appear 9:30 later in my calendar than the appointment time.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards, Dale

If you look at the Create Event V4 action for creating events in a regular calendar you can specify the Time zone for the event.  But the Create Group Event doesn't have that functionality.  So when creating group events they are always created by the flow based on UTC.  But as you have seen when looking at the event it is showing up at the right time of day for the Time zone you are in.  To the best of my knowledge there is no way to change the time zone setting using the connector as it is designed today.  So although the time detail shows it as UTC time, you will notice that the actual time in the detail is shifted to what the correct time would be in UTC.

    Thanks Pstork1,

That's good to know. It will confuse users if the times don't match. Can Create Event V4 create appoinments in a group calendar?
