Hi,
I have a rather simple problem that i can't solve and hope, one of you can help me.
I have given my chatbot a website as well as some personal documents to get information from. I want the bot to ONLY use links in his answers when it refers to information from a website (e.g. the FAQ), and NOT give me a link when it is referring to some information it found on one of the documents. At the moment, the Chatbot uses links in its answers in both scenarios, which is of course not what i want, when publishing the bot on my website in the future.
I hope i stated my problem in an understandable way, if not, don't be shy to ask 🙂
Any help would be highly appreciated! I'm kinda stuck atm.
Thanks!
Nick
Thanks! Then you can likely build the desired experience using an adaptive card, using the same approach I shared earlier.
Hi Henry,
first of all, thanks for your answer!
But actually, I meant it exactly the other way around I think. I want the Chatbot to use citations from the Uploaded Documents, but NOT provide a link to it (not give me these [1], [2] etc. and also not give the "Citation-1" link at the bottom of the answer. The answer itself however, shall stay the same other than that 🙂
I hope you get what I mean, I know it can be a little confusing...
Thanks in advance!
Hi Nick,
Do I understand correctly that your expectation for citations coming from uploaded documents, they shouldn't be part of the answer, but URLs should?
Not sure there's an easy way to do this, but you may explore using Power Fx formulas to get to the desired result by only using the Answer.Text.Content and removing the [1], [2] etc., and rebuilding the citation URL links based on the Answer.CitationSources.
I've shared how to use an adaptive card for similar use case here: Custom citation adaptive card for files
