vibe.powerapps.com Plan opens but Data/App tabs blank; Save disabled

I’m using vibe.powerapps.com and a plan that previously worked is now “stuck”:

vibe.powerapps.com Plan opens but Data/App tabs blank; Save disabled; Dataverse msdyn_artifactmetadata/$value returns 404

Symptoms

  • I can see the Plan in vibe and open it, but:
    • Data and App tabs are blank/default
    • Copilot doesn’t respond
    • Save button is greyed out (can’t continue editing)
  • No visible error in the UI, but DevTools shows workspace initialization failures.

Environment

  • Vibe URL (deep link):

Key Finding (Dataverse Web API)

Multiple requests fail like this:
  • GET https://companyNameDev.crm.dynamics.com/api/data/v9.0/msdyn_planartifacts(<artifact-guid>)/msdyn_artifactmetadata/$value
    • Status: 404 Not Found
Example artifact GUID(s) failing:
  • 24b35bbd-4813-f111-8406-7ced8d70f393
  • 5154c89a-4913-f111-8406-7ced8d70f393
  • (others similar)
Important detail: the artifact row exists, but the file/blob content is missing:
  • GET https://companyNameDev.crm.dynamics.com/api/data/v9.0/msdyn_planartifacts(24b35bbd-4813-f111-8406-7ced8d70f393)?$select=msdyn_planartifactid,createdon,modifiedon
    • Status: 200 OK
  • But:
    • GET .../msdyn_artifactmetadata/$value
    • Status: 404

Console errors

  • [DataModel] Data workspace content is not defined
  • Uncaught (in promise) Error: OneWorkspace state is undefined

What I’ve tried

  • Edge → Chrome (same behavior)
  • No UI errors; consistent blank Data/App, Save disabled


Has anyone seen vibe plans get into a state where msdyn_planartifacts rows exist but msdyn_artifactmetadata file content is missing?

Is there a supported recovery (restore/rollback/regenerate artifacts), or is this a Microsoft support case to repair the plan artifacts?

    Yes — what you are seeing is a known failure scenario with the Vibe plan artifact storage, and based on your evidence it is very likely a corrupted or orphaned artifact state in Dataverse, not a configuration issue.

    Either you can restore with help of backup or you can create Micrisoft Support ticket who can help to repair it.

    A few weeks ago, there was a bug where data changes wouldn't save when creating a new, non-Vibe plan. It's possible what you're seeing is related to the same bug.
     
    That bug seems to be fixed now, so maybe your data/app tabs might start to work again?
     
    If you do raise a support ticket as suggested above, I'd be interested to hear what they say. Microsoft don't support features in preview, so I suspect they may not be able to help in this instance.

    Thanks for your feedback.

    Some of my older Plans showed back up and I was able to edit the most recent one. But after some time, the problem reoccurred.

    I created a new Plan to see it that would work, but again. The Data went blank and the App tab is greyed out.
     
    I have been using the Feedback system to report problems, and I'll keep trying from time to time.
