I am failing to access an application i have developed in my environment. I have published it as well. On the web, its not appearing on the list of application. It is however appearing on my phone. When I try to open it on my phone, it says the we couldnt open the app. Make sure it wasnt deleted. What could be the problem?

    Based on your description:
    • The app is not fully published or synchronized.
    • The app is assigned to security roles that exclude your user.
    • The mobile app is referencing a stale/cached App ID.
    • The app exists in a different environment than the one you're currently viewing on the web.

There is a bit of a clue here -  When I try to open it on my phone, it says the we couldnt open the app. Make sure it wasnt deleted.
The mobile app "helpfully" caches any apps present when you open it - so it existed at some point in time and you had permissions to access it, however either it is no longer there (most likely) or you no longer have permission to use it.

Firstly (I know obvious), is it showing in the correct environment on the mobile app and have you selected this on the browser ?  After checking this, clear the mobile cache and then see if it comes back or goes away.

Have you re-created this at some point (Save As or restored from a Solution/Package as a new item) - this will have a different App ID from the mobile point of view.

Thank you for the responses. I found out that the mobile app was referencing a stale App ID. A team from Microsoft managed to get in touch. There were changes made by our platform administrator to our account domain that somehow affected my development environment. But it has been resolved though all the work done was lost in the process.
