I am creating a Canvas App that is an Example of how to use features of Canvas Apps. I want to display the text of the function on a screen so that it can read or even used for copy-n-paste. However, when I enter a function in a text control, even though the function is between quotation marks, it is treated as a function and generates an error. Is there a way to encapsulate functions so they are treated as text? A way to add function text to a screen so the text can be read? The only alternative I can think of is to use a picture of the text.
@Gergman
As long as it is enclosed in double quote marks, it will display what you want. It will not interpret the formula as a formula, it will interpret it as a text string. Make sure you have your quotes right.
Text : "Filter(myDataSource, ID=3)" will show as just that.
I hope this is helpful for you.
Thank you
