Timer for desktop flow?

Hi,

I am using PAD for form-filling in unattended mode on a VM - but after 4 hours of running and updating items, the portal where the form is needs to be logged out and back in again otherwise we get a 500 error on the portal.

Is there a way I can set a timer so that, when the flow run has reached say 3hrs 45mins, log out of the portal we are using and log back in and continue?

Thanks

K.

You can possibly do some work arounds with having an additional flow that runs on a schedule but I don't recommend it as it will make the automation unstable.

Instead, why not just have a check in the actual automation for when the robot has been logged out? e.g. have a try block wrapped around the automation and if it fails, it goes to a subflow where it interrogates the webpage for what it sees, if it sees the 500 error, then just tell it to re-login and go back to where it was, otherwise, throw an error as something else broke.

A different simpler solution could also just be to tell the automation to half-way through the loop (via an index) to just log off and re-login, see which one works best for you.

I support @Pavel_NaNoi approach and use it all the time

    My variation of this is:

    1. Start loop - (for each let's say)

2.Check presence of an element on site - if element is missing - this means logged off

    3. Simple If statement - if logged off call subflow "SiteLogon" etc
