repeating problem with dates

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out for help with a Power Automate flow that I've created. My goal is to set up a system where users can make a reservation for an object. When a reservation is successfully made, both the user and the administrator should receive a confirmation email. However, if the reservation overlaps with an existing one, the user should receive an error message notifying them of the conflict.

This is the first time I've ever tried to create a flow, and I’m not an IT professional. Despite that, I’m convinced that what I want to achieve is possible. My boss, however, is skeptical, and I’d love to prove that it can be done. That's why I’m determined to figure this out on my own.

I’ve also created a SharePoint list where this flow is intended to work. I’ve double-checked to ensure that all names are consistent between the list and the flow.

I'm stuck on a crucial part. I keep encountering an issue where Power Automate indicates that the second step has a 'BadRequest'. No matter what I do. I can't make it work and it prevents me from testing the flow.

The "error":
Action 'Get_items' failed: The expression "(Starttijd le 2024-12-14T07:00:00Z and Eindtijd ge 2024-12-14T16:00:00Z )" is not valid. Creating query failed. clientRequestId: 1f4d2ad6-fec7-424a-8540-82e68a3ae78b serviceRequestId: 2e3a6da1-406d-a000-d3e9-5ae9f0197894

I have a suspicion that part of the issue may be related to time zone settings. I believe my SharePoint list is set to UTC+01:00, while Power Automate might be working in UTC. I’m not entirely sure if this is the root of the problem, but it’s something I’m trying to investigate.

Has anyone experienced similar issues or have any advice on how to fix these problems? I’d be grateful for any guidance or suggestions on how to structure the flow to avoid the loop problem, ensure the error message works as intended, and handle any potential time zone conflicts.

Thanks in advance for your help!
