Using Power Automate to download hourly data

Hi all,

I'm just starting with Power Automate. I download csv data from a website daily for work and want to figure out how to automate it with Power Automate. The website requires me to put in the data and format of data, as shown below before clicking on downloading the CSV file. What would be my best approach for this? Thanks

I have the same question (0)

" Populate text field on webpage ", one action per ui element.

Text to populate = Todays Date ?

I use PA (cloud version) to call the desktop on the hour, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.

Hye mike thanks for the response, The issue is it's calendar-based so when you select the data its through an actual calendar layout as shown below, I'm also not sure how to actually utilize values such as Current time and date in the UI flow.

Well current date etc is the easy part.

Write 2/13/22 in a text file etc, try copy and paste manually into that first text box, it may accept it without having to mess about with the calendar dropdown, worth a shot...

Good idea, Ill see if that works!

If I use the current date function I would then have a flow variable for the CurrentDateTime. What would be the next function to make it into a text file that works with a variable? Because I essentially want this to run every hour every day so I want to automate it entirely.

Well the current date var is the input to type into the website textbox, thats your first mission.

Every hour / every day is mission 2, thats the easy one...

Edit : Convert datetime to text action, if that was the question   😁

I actually figured out a better way to get around the time issue, now my problem just seems to be downloading the file and placing it in the right folder.

Well there are actions to download a file, more than one...

    What have you tried ?
