The choice set input function in the custom form designer shows no contents in the drop-down menu

I have tried to input text value and list, but the drop-down menu still showed nothing but blank. I even have tried to directly type string or number to the default value, but still showed nothing, so I am wondering what type of value can be shown in the drop-down menu.

    It is showing up when given as below but there is really no documentation about the usage of the Title and Value pair.

    Thanks a lot! By the way, is there any method to input a list of value from excel or txt into Choices, which seems doesn't have an '{X}' logo to support an input?
