Hi I'm in a "PVA in a Day" workshop and no one was able to add their own site as a topic for the chatbot, including the instrictor. Even the sample "Contoso Coffee" site listed in the training module was rejected, because it was "too long".
Only thing that works is the Azure OpenAI "boost conversation" mode, but I can't publish because it's in Has anyone else had this problem, and what is the remedy for adding custom site to a default production chatbot?
The common issue for adding an FAQ page as a suggested topics list is that the page requires authentication. The FAQ page must be on an anonymous access web site that uses HTTPS. Lots of people try to load it from SharePoint but that won't work. This article discusses all the requirements. Hi @Pstork1 Is there any option to upload FAQ in PDF format in Power Virtual Agent?I have 3 different PDF available, I want to create a bot which will answer everything based on the content of those 3 PDF's. How to solve this problem in PVA?Thanks in advance 🙂
There has never been an option to upload it to PVA. Its always required pointing the Suggested Topics feature at an HTTPS url that is able to accessed anonymously. But you can use a PDF for that if its available via https without authentication.
Another point to make is that this feature has been replaced in the new unified authoring canvas by generative answers that uses AI to get additional information from your website. Generative Answers - Power Virtual Agents | Microsoft Learn
