Your "Execute Agent and wait" action is taking around 110 seconds, which is exceeding the 100-second timeout before you respond to the agent.
Delete the Delay action – it's wasting 10 seconds for no reason
Move "Execute Agent and wait" AFTER the "Respond to the agent" action – this way you respond immediately, and the child agent runs in the background
Make sure "Asynchronous response" is turned OFF in the Respond to the agent settings (check the Networking tab)
This gets the calling agent a response in under 2 seconds instead of waiting 2 minutes. The child agent keeps running in the background, and you can still capture its output in a variable if needed.
Give this a try and let me know how it goes.
This fixes both errors - no timeout because you respond instantly, no InvalidTemplate because you're not referencing future steps.

After "Respond to the agent", keep your Execute Agent and Compose steps, then add one of these:
