Model-driven custom page iOS native player UserNotLoggedIn error

Hi fellow makers!

I have an issue for which I’m hoping someone else already stumbled on and maybe fixed it.

I made a custom page that opens in a centered dialog triggered by a custom command using JS. It works perfectly in the browser. But when testing this out in the native player (running iOS myself), I stumbled on an error when the dialog is opened.

It is currently not listed as a known issue, in fact the article describes it as a supported feature: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/model-driven-apps/model-app-page-issues

    Hi,

I think this is related to the following limitation:

    • Custom pages require third-party cookies to be enabled, which is required by the canvas app runtime.

Just check with some colleagues who use Android. They don’t see the error.

Could it be iOS related? There’s no option to enable third party cookies in the native iOS app as far as I know.

    Hello @PowerThomas

I went through the same scenario again and managed to solve the problem. Indeed, this is related to the third-party cookies. The following documentation will certainly help you to solve the problem: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/troubleshooting-startup-issues#enable-storage-of-third-party-cookies-and-local-data-in-your-browser-or-app

In my case, I just had to allow the Cross-Website Tracking:

    1. Select Settings.
    2. Scroll down to Power Apps.
    3. Toggle on Allow Cross-Website Tracking.

    Good Luck !
