Power Automate Desktop Run-Only Access

If we want to give users access only to run processes, do those users need to purchase Power Automate Desktop premium access as well? Or is it sufficient for just the owner of the workflow to have premium access?

Secondly, can users edit or copy the flow?

How many concurrent flows can be handled or how many users can run flow at a time?

To answer your questions:

Yes, a Premium license is needed to run a flow shared by someone else. Without a Premium license, a user will only be able to use Power Automate Desktop on a personal account (the free version), and will not be able to connect to the cloud portal, meaning they won't be able to have anything shared with them. If you share a flow with a corporate user that does not have a Premium license, they will not even be able to sign in to PAD to see those flows without getting licensed first.

If they are a run-only user, they won't be able to edit the shared flow. But if they have the security role in the environment that permits them to create new flows, they will be able to copy the flow and make edits to the copied version. The only way to prevent users from copying it is giving them a "Basic User" role in the environment, which means they won't be able to create flows in it at all.

One desktop flow can run on a single machine at a time. On server machines that support several user sessions, you can have one desktop flow run per user session. So, the limit here is your machines. But each user must be licensed. No limits to users on your organization, as long as they're all properly licensed.

Hi @shahzaibkhan ,

1.Both of them require license to share the flow and to see or use the shared flow.
2.If you share the flow as User, they can just run the flow. If you share the flow as Co-Owner, they can run, edit, delete etc the flow as shown in below image.
