Hi there,

I came across a rather annoying scernario. I am trying to build a responsive app for web and tablet/mobile.

Lets focus on the web browser version first.

I have disable scale to fit as recommended by MS documentation.

And follow their app layout formulars to set my controls, lables etc height and width property using parent.width or parent.height as reference.

However, I am struggling to understand why when we are in the design view the controls do not display correctly.

Some of the controls spread beyond the page/get extremely squashed and its really hard for me to adjust the design of them. This happens when using the normal container and the new horizontal/vertical container also.

Is there a setting somewhere that I am missing? Because the preview version just has really bad aspect ratio which makes me worry that when one open the app in a tablet this too would display like the designer view and not like the browser preview.

Or can I trust the preview on my browser?
