I'm fairly new to CoPilot Studio so please bear with the possibly silly question! Also, I've tried looking through all forums and even asking CoPilot so sending this out to the community.

I'm curious is there a setting or any reason why I can't access the Generative Answer node when developing a topic. As you can see in the photo, it is not there under Advanced...

The Generative Answers node appears under the Advanced menu when you add a node in topic development. Click the plus icon to add a node, go to Advanced, then select Generative answers.

Steps to add the node

Open your topic in the Topics page
Select the Add node icon (plus sign) under an existing node
Point to Advanced in the menu
Select Generative answers
A node called "Create generative answers" appears on your canvas

If the option is missing
Check your authoring mode
Copilot Studio offers both classic and generative authoring modes. Some features appear differently depending on your mode. The Generative answers node should be available in both, but verify your environment settings.

Verify license and permissions
Generative answers requires specific licensing and tenant settings. Check with your admin that generative AI features are enabled for your environment.

Try a new topic
Create a fresh topic from blank and check if Advanced shows Generative answers. Sometimes existing topics carry configuration issues.

Check environment region
Generative answers rolled out progressively across regions. Confirm your environment runs in a supported geography.
The node placement in your screenshot shows you're at the right menu level. If Advanced truly lacks Generative answers after checking these items, your tenant admin may need to enable the feature or your license tier might not include it.
