Recorder is not recognizing the windows app login screen pop up

I have my application RDP icon on my desktop as below, when I run the flow using "Run application action" it is opening the app nicely and shows the pop to enter user id and password. when I tried to record the user id and password of popup window , it was not recognized.

C:\Users\xxx\Desktop\cpub-myapp_launch-RDAPP_Test.rdp

Please help.

Are you using the Recorder or the UI Element picker for recording the Login to the remote desktop?

Or is this a username and password of the app you just launched from rdp? In order for the recorder to see the VM that the window is running on, it needs the Power Automate for remote desktop machines instead on the machine you are trying to reach.

Thank you so much for your reply. Yes I tried with UI and Recorder to capture the login popup of the app but no luck.
anyway it worked after calling the RDP as below.

"C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\Remote Desktop Connection.lnk"
