Hello!
A few days ago my daily power automate script crashed with the error "Looks like your flow's operation is hitting an action limit designed to protect the connector service being called."
I searched a lot about this issue and wondered why it happened once only. I didn't modify it the day before or after that. The script worked fine the day following days!
According to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/limits-and-config?WT.mc_id=BA-MVP-5003630 , there is a 500 actions per workflow limit. According to this screenshot of my flow, I count 22 actions and it runs once per day. So it shouldn't be the issue.
Then I found out about the daily limit of a paid licensed user is 40000 per day. Altough I have no idea where to go to see what my plan is so it could be the issue, If you have insight on how I can find this information, I would like to hear it.
For now, I use ~100 runs per day. I don't know if this number is associated with my limit or not... But that's what I see from this URL : https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/analytics/flow
So... Anyone here know what I'm missing? I didn't expect to hit a limit anytime soon. Was it just a bug? What can I expect from Power Automate exactly? Can I run a lot of flows like the one I showed you?
Yes, I know how complicated Microsoft's licensing plans are, which is why I held back from trying to guess at what your answer might be--I knew it would probably be partially or completely mistaken. Also, the limitations and restrictions are very complicated. You have to be able to see the whole picture of your environment because something outside Power Automate might override the limitations inside it--and vice versa. If you could reach out to someone in your company, that might be a start. Of course, it may be that you end up knowing more about this than they do 🙂

Thank you for the reply. I guess this should be considered as an answer and I'll most likely do it within a few days but I realize how complicated Microsoft does the plans. I can't find an easy answer to what I have right now vs what I need. At least I know my plan is "Microsoft Power Automate Free". But I don't know exactly how it translates into my daily usage and I don't know where I should ask.
Does this company have salesman that can guide me through this?
You can view your account's subscriptions at https://portal.office.com/account/?ref=MeControl and click on View Subscriptions. That'll give you some idea of what level of licensing your account has and from that you can dive deeper on the restrictions you might be under.
