Checking Existing Power Apps and Power Automate for planned Deprecated Features

I have noticed that many deprecations are planned for the Power Platform. Is there a good way to check our apps to determine whether they use any of the features that are being deprecated, so that we can plan for any required changes?

I have the same question (0)

I'm not aware of any automated way to scan existing apps and flows for deprecated features.  Deprecation alone won't break an app or a flow.  Its only after a period of time when deprecated features are actually removed that it will break the app or flow.

There is currently no single tool that automatically identifies all deprecated features across your Power Platform estate.

The most effective approach is to combine Solution Checker, CoE Starter Kit inventory reporting, App/Flow Checker, and regular reviews of Microsoft's official

    deprecation announcements.

This proactive governance approach will help you identify risks early, prioritize remediation efforts, and avoid unexpected disruptions when deprecated features

    are eventually retired.

Pstork1 is right there's no automated scanner that maps your apps and flows to deprecated features. Here's what actually helps:
Microsoft maintains a running list of all planned deprecations with dates. It's the authoritative source.

    2. CoE Starter Kit gives you a full inventory of all apps, flows, and connectors across your tenant. Once you know what's being deprecated from the page above, you can cross-reference it against the CoE inventory to find which apps and flows use that connector or feature. It won't scan automatically but it makes the manual check much faster.

    3. Microsoft 365 Message Center sends deprecation announcements to admins. Make sure your Power Platform admins are subscribed to Power Platform messages there.

The CoE Admin Command Center also surfaces Message Center news related to Power Platform directly inside the app, which helps keep deprecation awareness in one place.

    Hey Paul,
Thanks for the information. I had a hunch that there was no set way to check, however I wanted to make sure.

I appreciate your insight along insight from the others!

    Thanks,
