I'm working on a customer-facing bot for a servicedesk in Copilot Studio.

To make sure we know who we are talking to I would like to use multi-tenant authentication.

I've followed the instructions on Configure user authentication with Microsoft Entra ID - Microsoft Copilot Studio | Microsoft Learn.

When testing the bot (in InPrivate or Chrome/Firefox) when I click the sign in button it goes to the sign in page of our own tenant instead of the common Microsoft login page.

The logon url is:

https://login.microsoftonline.com/{our tenant id}/oauth2/v2.0/authorize?client_id={app registration client id}&response_type=code&scope=profile+openid+offline_access&redirect_uri=https%3a%2f%2feurope.token.botframework.com%2f.auth

When I change it to:

https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/oauth2/v2.0/authorize?client_id={app registration client id}&response_type=code&scope=profile+openid+offline_access&redirect_uri=https%3a%2f%2feurope.token.botframework.com%2f.auth

I can login but I receive the following error: AADSTS700005: Provided Authorization Code is intended to use against other tenant, thus rejected.

So I think something is missing in my app registration to allow multi-tenant logins.

Anyone have any idea's on where to start looking?
