Hey experts,

I need to create a flow for users to submit answers for set of questions along with pictures which was created by Microsoft forms. the submitted response needs to save in PDF format on a SharePoint site. I have tried several times using deferent actions and features but unable to build the flow still. I am new to power automate and seeking your support to achieve the goal. So, please let me know if anyone know how to do it.

Hi @DilanR, Hope you are doing well! I will try to give high level flow step by step:

    1. Create Your Flow in Power Automate

    • Click Create > Automated flow.
    • Name your flow (e.g., “Save Forms Responses as PDF”).
    • Choose trigger:
      • Search for and select When a new response is submitted (Microsoft Forms).
      • Pick your form from the list.
    2. Get Response Details
    • Add an action: Get response details (Microsoft Forms).
    • Fill in your form and response ID as dynamic content.
    3. Handle Images (File Uploads)
    • If your form includes image uploads:
      • Use Get file content (OneDrive or SharePoint) to fetch uploaded images.
      • Uploaded files are stored in the form owner’s OneDrive. Use the file response details to get the file path.
    4. Create an HTML Representation
    • Use Compose or Create HTML Table action to convert form responses into an HTML layout.
    • For images, embed them using <img src="data:image/..."> tags with Base64 content (fetched from file content).
Tip: Building a neat HTML representation lets you control how your final PDF will look.
    5. Convert HTML to PDF
    • For built-in or no-cost options, use OneDrive for Business’s “Convert file” action to turn your HTML file into PDF.
    • Alternatively, services like Plumsail Documents or Muhimbi provide advanced PDF conversion (these may require a subscription or a free trial).
    • Set the HTML or response details as input.
    • Output a PDF file.
    6. Save the PDF in SharePoint
    • Add Create file (SharePoint) action.
    • Set the Site Address, Library, Filename, and File Content (the output PDF).
