Displaying Currency values in a table

Hi,

I'm trying to get values (in GBP £) to display in an email using Power Automate.

I was getting an error that the values being formatted were not recognised as numbers, so I've nested a float function within the formatnumber function as per the screen shots.

This worked for displaying a percentage, but for my currency row is displaying A3 instead of a £ symbol. This has been the case with different tries - I've also tried formatting as a number (0.00) and inserting a £ in the td data, but the same occurs.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Are you getting an error message?

Generally speaking the format of your expression looks ok, if your input is always a string.

Only thing which I would suggest is to check if you are using the correct internal name of the field? The name looks odd since most applications (like SharePoint) wouldn't return an internal name with a space in it.

But I assume you are using the correct field name, since you have had successful different attempts.

Below is an example of that same conversion in a simple flow

    formatnumber(float(variables('Pounds')), 'c', 'en-GB')

    Thank you for replying.

I've checked and the name of the field is correct. Unfortunately this hasn't solved it, but I've managed to get the £ to display by formatting as a number (0.00) and using the numeric code &#0168.

This has meant some extra time applying nowrap to the css and playing with padding to get something that looks suitable, but has worked.
