How to choose exactly text using power automate desktop

Hello everyone,

I am having an issue when using Power Automate Desktop. After using the 'populate text' feature to fill in a field, the system displays a drop-down list for me to choose from.

However, since my text is too short and not unique so what can I do to select the correct 'PP' from the list below?

I had tried use move mouse or choose drop list but nothing useful

This is probably not the answer to your question. I use Adobe Acrobat to adjust the settings of my newly created PDF files (Microsoft Word "Save As" PDF). I start Adobe Acrobat with the newly created file name. I use sendkeys keyboard shortcuts (not well supported by Adobe) CTRL D to bring up a requestor, then I must use window-relative mouse movement and clicks to select the correct tab, and then activate a drop-down pick list (with a sendkeys keyboard shortcut), and then use sendkeys arrow movement with partial text input (the entries in the dropdown picklist are not unique). It's clunky, but it works.

Hi @DoanhungHOGVII ,

If you drop down list is specific or Static you can try these below first method.

1. First set the variable you want to select from the drop down and then pass the drop down in the name field of Set drop down list value of web page.

2. You can use Run Java script on web page action. Follow the below link you will get an idea.

Have you tried Send Keys {Tab} at this point? For most drop downs this will leave the drop down using the value you leave behind.

I am using a company computer, and due to security reasons, I cannot use just any software. I do not have the software you mentioned.

This is not a drop-down box because after entering the code, many fields appear for me to choose from rather than being readily available.

Did you tried maually after populating the text and click on enter what its happening.
