Hi all,
Is it possible to import topics with trigger phrases from excel in PVA?
I have an excel file that contains links to knowledge articles and multiple keywords for each knowledge article. I would like to automate the creation of PVA topics. For each knowledge article listed in the excel file I need to create a topic in PVA.
Thanks
Yes, you can import topics from an Excel file using the Suggested Topics feature. You can read about it here: Get topic suggestions from online content (contains video) - Power Virtual Agents | Microsoft Learn
The main issue I've seen people have is that the Excel file needs to be accessible from a non-authenticated URL for the import.
Thank you for your answer! It is very helpful. Is it also possible to import a "show a message" in PVA with an excel import? In the same excel file where I have the titles and keywords for the topics there is a column with links to knowledge articles that I need to get as an answer in PVA.
I don't think that is going to be possible using the suggested Topics feature. Its designed to pull in questions and make them Topics and then one answer for each question. The answer can include a hyperlink. Take a look at the example here: Get topic suggestions from online content (contains video) - Power Virtual Agents | Microsoft Learn
