Unattended Bot - How to handle multiple conditions within the RPA to be dynamic?

Hello,
We need to automate the on-boarding process of an employee through an Unattended bot on RPA.

The main purpose we’re using the RPA is because we need to apply firewall policy and connect the user to the VPN. (The VPN that we're using does not have an API available)

My main concern is as follow:

We are operating in different countries and each country has a VPN configuration related to it. So based on the employee country we are allocation the configuration.

When it comes to the RPA to automate this process how can we handle it that if the country is X go to this setup, else a different one.

Imagine you operate in 10 countries. Do I need to have 10 conditions and different recordings?

What will be the most effective approach to handle such scenario? Can you provide a very small example and documentations that can guide me through this process?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you

I'd suggest using switch statements, these are used for flows in which steps may be different depending on the outcome of a variable (in this case Country).

What you are describing seems like you want to build a flow and depending on a variable, do different steps than the other. That is exactly what switch statements are made for. Switch statements are like If and Else statements, but easier to read in scenario's where a variable can have different outcomes and thus different setups.

Good luck and let me know the progress.

    Hi @Julien2

You can try this approach as well

if you have details of country and vpn details , save the details in excel like this

And then your flow, read the above excel and store in datatable. Then lookup the country and get the corresponding vpn details see sample flow like below

Hope it helps in designing the flow
