Hello, community.
I'm having problems using the Power Automate UI AUTOMATION elements with SAP 750. I can't capture the tabs as shown in the image, some buttons work, but the grid and tabs. Help me, please!
I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

    Are you saying that even if you record yourself clicking them, you cannot capture the data? Just want to make sure what the issue is.

    I'm not sure what capture Tab means? You want to get the Text of the Tab?

    In some cases, it could simply be how they have created their app and how it uses Windows (not the program, the programming construct)

    @FLMike
    Capturing the UI elements means to be able to save the UI references with the UI picker so that the PAD can use them in its actions.
    So seems like he can only capture the Pane element and not the elements under that like the "Condições" -tab.

    Usually SAP is best automated with its own Script Recording and Playback capability. So you record the script from SAP and then use the created VBscript on PADs "Run VBscript" -action. Its bit more of a learning curve from PADs low code actions but much quicker and more reliable for SAP.

    Make sure you have enabled scripting from SAP GUI Options > Accessibility & Scripting > Scripting > User Settings > Enable scripting

    @ER-31070620-0, thanks for the answers. I carried out all the settings mentioned in the documentation, both on the RZ11 screen and in the accessibility settings. Unfortunately I can't use the recording and playback Script because the client doesn't allow it.

    Is you Power Automate Desktop updated? I would try updating and seeing if that does anything. Maybe try with the SAP automation -actions like "Click SAP UI element"

    Or if that doesn't work then just try the regular UI automation actions after updating PAD.

    You said your client doesn't allow using the use of recording and playback Script but is the Scripting installed and enabled?
    If not I think you not being able to click those UI elements might have to do with scripting not being enabled in SAP. It might block the capturing of child UI elements. I am not 100% sure about this though.

    If these don't work then I think you need to use more unreliable actions like Move mouse to text on screen

    ER-31070620-0 , Thanks for the feedback, I also tried to use SAP Automation and the access error occurred right at the beginning. I think I'll have to use less reliable actions unfortunately, as I don't know what else to do.
