I'm creating a flow to update a SharePoint List due to it's inability to recalculate like Excel. There are 9 columns and the next column relies on the one before it. Is there a more efficient way to update the list items than Get Items > Update Items repeated 9 times?

Hi @Aimthedame ,

Without knowing more details, from a high-level I may do this in PowerQuery via Dataflows. The ability to work with recalculations there is going to be way more efficient.

So essentially you would send your data to Dataverse via dataflows, due your ETL there, then just reference the dataverse table.

Fast or a smarter way to write it. My experience with Power Automate is limited and I thought someone in the community might have a better way of recalculating a SharePoint list. The first Get Items gets the employee name and hire date so that it can calculate the years of service in the third column. Then, it's necessary to Get items again so that the years of service can be used to calculate the next column and so on. If there's no way around it, that's fine. I just thought this might be a learning opportunity for me.
