Need Assistance: Sharing PVA Bot Across Teams Channels and Email Access Issues

Hi, I have created a PVA bot in production mode within the DS environment. I have a Teams channel named "DS," and individuals in the DS team can access my bot. However, I want to share it with users who are outside the DS Teams channel as well. Please refer to the image below for more details.

When I attempt to add a user's email, nothing is being displayed. On the other hand, if I search for specific Teams channels, they are being displayed. Consequently, I decided to create a new Teams channel called "testing-bot." Unfortunately, this new channel is not appearing in the search bar. Why is this the case?

Furthermore, I'd like to emphasize that while developing the bot using Canvas, I am able to include a person's email within the sharing options. However, when transitioning to the production phase, I'm required to add security groups or Teams channels for sharing.

    Hi, @Jupyter123 .

    I'll break down what's happening:

    1. When it comes to sharing a bot with someone so that they can simply chat with it, you must do this with security groups; you cannot share a bot directly with an individual for chatting purposes only (if a bot has no sensitive information, setting it up for org-wide access is a good way to simplify this process so that anyone with a link to it can access it)
2. When it comes to owning and collaborating on a bot, you can share it with an individual; this is why in your above statement you find that you can enter an email in the sharing options. However, for a PVA for Teams bot, you can't set owners directly; instead, they are always the same as the owners group of the related Microsoft Team.
    3. As for a new team and its related Security group not appearing as an option, this often takes 24-48 hours before you start seeing everything propagating correctly in the system. You should check again, and sign out of and back into Teams if needed.

Please see MS documentation for additional info - it does a good job explaining all of these scenarios (flip between the tabs at the top for differences between PVA for Teams and PVA Premium)

@MattJimison Thanks, It's clear. So, this is for production mode.
Whereas In Canvas mode, it allows us to add an individual person, so we can share a bot with them. However, in Production, it doesn't allow us to share with an individual, but rather only with security groups
