Hello community,

Today I have problem with my PAD in VM which at first its version is 2.40 (I check it last Friday)

But today when I check it again, the version got down to 2.39 which is really weird. I try to check event log in my VM history but there's no event like that happened.

So, I would like to know if there's a way to see updates history log that show date of version update within PAD.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @deerzzxdell ,

Application itself doesn't have a built-in history log. By utilizing these below resources and staying updated, you can effectively manage your PAD installation and ensure you're working with the latest version.

Visit the official Microsoft Learn documentation page for Power Automate Desktop released versions:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/released-versions/power-automate-desktop

if issue still exist please raise a ticket to microsoft

Power Automate for desktop is available in two versions: MSI and Microsoft Store (MSIX).

I assume that both are installed and that they are different versions of each other.
(reference:Install Power Automate - Power Automate | Microsoft Learn)

You can tell which version is running by looking at the path PAD.Console.Host.exe in the task manager.
(If the path contains 'WindowsApps', it is the MSIX version.)

I have previously written a script to get the version of Power Automate for desktop installed. See also.

Also, if you have the MSI version, there may be a '*-Installer.log' file left in the TEMP folder (C:\Users\(User Name)\AppData\Local\Temp\Power Automate-XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX), so please check there too.
