Canvas App - text_input Comments section

Hi, I have a canvas app with text_input named as Comments. This is used to add comments but when I trigger the Cloud Flow and pass the Comments variable the display is not taking into account the Enter (next line) instead shows everything in same line.

Note: When I enter twice (then it shows next line which is not ideal)

Could you please tell me,

Did you set the textinput's Mode property to TextMode.MultiLine?

But when the post is displayed on MS-Teams group chat, its showing everything in 1 line unless I give 2 enters? Any idea why?
