How to load app on a list item click

Hi:

On a dev site we have the context menu showing comments out to the right when you hover over an item. Also there is an underline indicating it is a link. If you click on the link the data for that item does NOT load into the app.

Secondly on the production site, the context menu does not show at all. Have enable CONTENT types and COMMENTS and the production site does NOT show the context menu AND when you click on the item it does Not load the app with that items data.

If yes, can you give some more details about how the Power Apps form is created?

Based on your explanation I assume that the production site is not yet linked to a form.

Hi:
Thank you for responding. Two questions: On most of the apps we have an underline link shows in the list view that when you click an item it loads the app. On one of our apps there is NO underline and NO comment menu to the right for comments. Not sure what we did or did not do to enable or not enable this.

Also noticed that when we click a SharePoint list item that does show the link underline, even in the apps that are loaded that the data for that particular item does NOT load in the app as the app loads. The app loads to a default point and that particular record does not load in the app.

Hi

Can you check what the settings are in the list settings and than form settings?
If you have a custom form in Power Apps, it should look like this for both lists:

Yes they are both the same. Read something about how to enable comments on a list but must have missed something on enabling it.

Have you tried to reopen and republish the Power App?
Can you maybe share more information about the app itself? Is it the standard form? Did you make any specific changes?

Republished with same result. Guess we will make a new app and see what happens today. See if something messed up in the proccess.
