Monitor in power apps

Hello everyone,

I have a Power Apps application. At startup, it takes a long time to load, so I want to understand what causes this slowness. I try to use the Monitor, but as soon as I open it and refresh, it disconnects, so it doesn’t provide any details during the application launch. However, after the application finishes loading, the Monitor works fine.

How can i resolve this?

Hi @gikido,

Yes - that is an issue - the Monitor is normally started on the app when it is running.

The first thing you need to look at is your App OnStart code, then the OnVisible of your landing page as well as the Items of any gallery and the Item of any Form on that page.

All of that is trying to query your data sources when the app opens, so you will probably find the culprit is in there. Please post all of that in Text.
