Hi! This is a known issue that can have a few different causes. Here's a checklist to resolve it:
1. Check the "End conversation" node Make sure your topic ends with a proper End conversation or Transfer to agent node. If the flow ends abruptly without a closing node, the activity log may show success but the response won't be delivered to the channel.
2. Verify the Message node is before any ending action Sometimes a Send a message node gets placed after an action or condition that terminates the flow. Double-check the order of nodes in your topic.
3. Check the channel configuration The Activity panel runs in the internal test environment, which bypasses some channel-specific settings. If you're publishing to Teams, a website widget, or another channel:
4. Response size / Adaptive Card issues If you're returning a large message or an Adaptive Card, some channels silently drop responses that exceed size limits or contain unsupported elements. Try simplifying the response to plain text first to isolate the issue.
5. Generative answers / AI model latency If the topic uses Generative answers or calls an AI Builder / Azure OpenAI action, the response may time out on certain channels. Check if adding a loading message before the AI action helps.
6. Power Automate flow returning null If your topic calls a Power Automate flow and uses the output in a message, verify that the flow always returns a non-null value. A null output can silently block the message node.
