Official Documentation on attachment limit inside a PowerApps canvas application

Hi,
I cannot find anywhere, where it states the maximum size of an individual attachment inside a canvas application for PowerApps.
The context is due to having an application that when adding an attachment over 30MB its causing the app to restart.
Could someone link the official doc where it states limits for attachments?

Hi @James89,

There isn’t one single “canvas app attachment max size” it depends on the control and the storage target.

If you’re using the Attachments control, the per-file size is governed by the control’s MaxAttachmentSize (MB) property (but the real limit is still constrained by the backend).

If the attachment is saved to Dataverse, there are hard limits depending on the column type:

Image column: 30 MB max (this matches your “>30MB causes restart” symptom).

File column: default 32 MB (configurable higher), but Power Apps controls support up to 128 MB.

Notes/Attachment (annotation): default 5 MB, configurable up to 128 MB.

If you embedded the file as Media in the app (not an attachment upload), limits are 64 MB per media file and 200 MB total per app.
