Hi,
I need to transfer the ownership of my PVA bot to another co-worker in the same environment as my account will be deleted in a few weeks but I want the bot to remain operational and for my co-worker to be able to continue to work on it.
How can I do this?
Thanks
I am an owner within our team, and I can edit the bot, but I am not the owner of the bot. The current owner of the bot is leaving the company, how can we transfer ownership of the bot to another user (me)?
Hi @orank
Not that I am aware of.
You can have them export the solution the when your account gets disabled. If the proper owner is not the right one. They can get their account deactivated just for a second and have the ownership transferred to them.
There are currently two people other than myself with manager access to the Bot. Is there a way to know which of these employees will become the owner?
Thanks again,
Orank
Hey @orank
Yes sorry I meant “manager”. When your account gets removed the manager will become the new owner.
if your worried definitely take an export of the solution with the bot.
If there are any issue, the PVA support team can restore the bot if needed

Hi @Jcook ,
Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, I am unable to assign co-owner status to my colleagues for some reason. I have shared the PVA bot with three colleagues and they all have 'Manager' and 'Power automate user' status. Will one of these colleagues automatically become the owner do you know, or must I assign co-owner status to them (if this is possible)?
Thanks in advance,
orank
Hello @orank
If you make your colleague a co owner. When your account gets disabled, they will become the owner.
you can also take a backup just in case by exporting the solution either in PVA Portal. Or in power automate portal (if you built in teams) to access the environments
