Hi guys,

I'm creating a Topic which already up into few nodes, when I'm thinking I want to add new condition in the above the flow.

Like in the picture, the condition in the middle is just added, and I plan to move all nodes below it to and inside the left "leg" of the condition (node N).
How to do that ? or Copilot Studio unable to do that and I have to create all over again ?

Thanks,

    Hi,

You don't have to rebuild the topic. Copilot Studio's authoring canvas supports Cut → Paste of one or more nodes, so you can lift the existing nodes and drop them inside the new condition branch.

    Steps:

    1. Select the nodes you want to move. Click the first node, then use the toolbar to extend the selection to adjacent nodes (the toolbar cut/copy/delete actions work on the selected node or selected adjacent nodes).
    2. On the toolbar, choose Cut — this places them on the clipboard and removes them from their current position.
    3. In your new Condition node, click the “+” (Add node) icon under the left “leg” / branch where you want them to live.
    4. From the Add node menu, choose Paste. The nodes are inserted at that exact location inside the branch.

    Tip on where Paste lands:

    • If you select a node and then Paste, the clipboard nodes are inserted after the selected node.
    • If you click the “+” to open the Add node menu and then choose Paste, the nodes are inserted at that “+” location — this is what you want for placing them inside the condition's branch.

If something goes wrong, use Undo (or Undo to last save) on the toolbar to revert.

I don't think the flow UI don't have ability to move object freely.

One think I tried and succeeded is to do it via YAML. You need to Open Code Editor to do it.

then move the whole chunk to the position you'd like. Just be careful when doing it, to not break the design.

I haven't succeeded with the CUT and PASTE. But the YAML is works!

    Thanks!
