Implementing Role-Based Access Control in Canvas App Using Azure AD Group Object ID

Hello Everyone,

Has anyone implemented role-based access control (RBAC) in a Canvas App using Azure AD Group Object IDs for the logged-in user?

In my scenario, the logged-in user belongs to multiple Azure AD groups. Is there a recommended way to iterate through the user’s group Object IDs and match them against specific groups to handle security and access control within the app?

Any guidance, best practices, sample approaches, or blog references would be highly appreciated.

    you can use Office365Groups Connector in Power Apps to retrieve members of a group
    this is the function Office365Groups.ListGroupmembers()

    or you can also use ListOwnedGroupsV3() which returns all groups the user owns or belongs to.
