Sharepoint Knowledge source Limits - copilot studio unstructed knowledge source

I see the limits to sharepoint knowledge source as this:

SharePoint limits

Number of files and folders
- Total of 1,000 files, 50 folders, and 10 layers of subfolders can be included for each source.
- Folders are represented as a single knowledge source, which contains all of their content.
512 MB per file
Synchronization frequency is four to six hours (based on the time of ingestion completion)
Supported file types: doc, docx, xls, xlsx, ppt, pptx, pdf

Does that mean we can only have one sharepoint site limited to 1000 files? or is it the folder we add as a knowledge source to the copilot studio agent can have 1000 file in each folder when attached as a knowledge source?

How can I still use sharepoint if my agent continously write files to sharepoint which can go way beyond 1000. Or is there a dynamic(automatic) way of creating and adding the sharepoint library to the copilot studio agent?

hello, this limit is only for the unstructured sharepoint connector (the documenation is not very clear but, if we look very close (i know :D) ) you will see this limitation not concerne the basic sharepoint connector but the unstructured one : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-copilot-studio/knowledge-unstructured-data

Don't worry :) it's common mistake since the documenation is written in a way that everyday people are misunderstanding :)

And : for the normal connector :) you are not limited to "only one sharepoint knowledge connector at the root of you'r document" you can provide a sharepoint document library link directly on subfolder :) you can have up to 25 knowledge sharepoint source in a single agent :)

@Romain The Low-Code Bearded Bear Thanks for your reply, Yes the Documentation is really misleading! So does the 1000 files limit is for the file & folders we add using the sharepoing button near the upload files button? (which uses dataverse) Is there any way of increasing that if so as I'm planning to use that to get better results as it also reads content from images and also uses vector embeddings.

And for the Normal sharepoint connector I have tested with two folders having 1500 augmented files using powrshell script (txt files) in Folder A and 1000 Files in Folder B and uploaded them to the sharepoint attached it to the agent and I was able to retrive the answers / citations from beyond 1000 files, that confirms the above as you mentioned :-)

Also can you confirm if there is no limit on the total files added for the normal sharepoint connector and can use upto 25 knowledge source? Can you provide a reference to the 25 knowledge sources things as well? Thanks much in advance :-)
