Hi Team,

I have a question. I have a power apps canvas app built in Dev environment. I have exported and imported into Production Environment. My data source is SharePoint list. While playing the app in production environment to submit a form, I get this message:  FormName failed: Item could not be created. Check if input is valid. clientRequestId: xxxxxxxxx serviceRequestId: xxxxxxx

What am I doing wrong? Note, I can submit form while in Dev and Test environment but not in Prod Environment. Appreciate any help please.

    This error always means that Power Apps tried to create a SharePoint list item, but one or more fields the app submitted do NOT match the expected field types or required values in the Production list.

         App is fine
         Logic works
         Production list schema does NOT match Dev/Test list schema

    This might be the root cause after importing apps between environments.

    Common reasons:
    1. Required columns differ between environments
    2. If Prod has different schema (added fields, changed required/optional) the submission fails.
    3. Column data types differ or were changed
    4. Users may not have Add permission on Prod list.

    Validate:
    1. Compare Dev/Test list schema vs Production list schema
    Required = Yes/No
    Data type (Choice, Lookup, Person, Text, Number)
    Default value differences
    Hidden but required fields (especially Title)

    2. Make sure your app is submitting valid values for each field
    Choice --> must submit text that matches an option exactly
    Lookup --> must submit a numeric ID, not the display text
    Person --> must submit email/claims
    Date --> must submit ISO format

    3. Check permissions in Prod
    Ensure the account actually has Contribute/Add rights.

    4. Re-add the data connection after fixing list schema
    Power Apps caches schema, refresh after changes.

    Thanks Sunil. This helped and I found the issue. I had a slight difference in the column schemas between the two environments which may have caused this. In one of the choice columns, I initially had single-select which I later changed to multi-select in test but forgot to do that same in Prod. I've done the same in Prod and now I can submit the from. Thank you again.
