PDF Merge Sequence

I have a folder which contains 3 files, which are required to merged.
They are named as  "A", "B" and "C"
I want to merge them into a single PDF file with sequence as A-B-C. However, the merger of PDFs takes place arbitrarily by Power Automate and i get the merger as B-A-C.
Any solution to this problem, please let me know.
I have the same question (0)

Could you try adding sufficient Waits between the files and check again.

    Hi VJR,

Didn't understood your solution. How can i introduce waits through PAD.

Any screenshot or 1 line code will help.

Check to see if the same issue explained in this video works out in your case.

    Hi VJR,

I tried the solution as provided in the Youtube video and marked my PDFs as 1,2,3 etc. Yes it merged very well in sequence but in descending order ie. 3,2,1. There lies the problem.

Another issue is that whenever numbering extends beyond 10, as shown in the video and solution was not provided for the same.

When tried to add 1,2,3 it merged them as 3,2,1 for me too like you said. This could be a bug in PAD.

But then if you use "reverse list" it merges them properly in 1,2,3.

Here the catch is that it is a Text based sorting and not number based so this will cause issues for 1 and 10. How do your file names look like?

Also, you have three files in your original post. Would you be reaching till 10?

On the other hand, do you know the order that it should merge? If so you can dynamically create your own text variable in the desired order and pass it to the PDF Files parameter separated by comma. You will have to generate the string in reverse order so that it prints in the correct order.

Or create a List in the reverse order so that it prints in the right order.

I accepted your solution, as by reversing the list it works.

but following points are to be noted:-

    1. My files were not numbered 1,2,3 and so on. These have have general names with no sequencing. After watching Youtube video prescribed by you, i thought to label it and thus numbered them to get a proper merge sequence.

    2. I can select the files as instructed through image, the problem is that, even though i am selecting the proper order, the sequencing automatically gets distorted at File pick-upstage itself. Moreover if i have to manully pickup the files, i will better look at other options like using www.ilovepdf.com.
