Hi,
I've built a simple app that scans barcodes and sends them on to a flow, which then writes them into a list.
I'm still looking to add some minor features but in testing it has worked fine so far. Since today however, starting the barcode scanner (selecting the control in the app) has a high risk of crashing the app (on mobile, Android). It will usually run fine for the first scan and then crash the 2nd or 3rd time the scanner is used, though on the 1st has happened too. Sometimes it will show "Powerapps has crashed because the app has a bug.", though not always.
I've tried to run the monitor to find out what causes this. However, whether the barcode reader works or crashes the app, it's not recorded in the monitor, it will just show the app loading on the next start-up.
In absence of useful monitor data I've played around and it looks like having scan mode set to "Scan multiple" influences it, as I didn't get crashes when scan mode is on 'select to scan' or autoscan - though it may just be less likely. Of course, 'scan multiple' is the behaviour I need.
Is there any ways to troubleshoot the scanner better, or are there some experts here who may be able to help?
