I am wondering if anyone can help describe why a custom Copilot seldom works in Microsoft Teams.
I am developing an employee companion type of copilot to answer some simple HR question based on various documents. One day it will work fine in Teams, other days it simply won't respond or the responses are completely illogical based on my topics.
For example, we have a 2024 holiday calendar for days our team is not working due to holiday. In copilot studio, it provides the right answer always. In Teams, sometimes it will respond, other times it won't respond at all, and other times it will say "I don't know how to answer"....doesn't make sense. If this cannot work in Teams, it'll be difficult for me to roll it out to the organization and continue paying for a license.
Anyone have any guidance on how to get the copilot to start working again in Teams? @HenryJammes
MS Learn has good documentation on this, this is what I followed. Add a chatbot to Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Copilot Studio | Microsoft Learn
Hi, @jbonomo. Can you share the process of building a custom copilot and integrating it with the teams? Actually, I am building one. Thank you!
I found out that if I turn off "dynamic chaining" the responses are more consistent. Given that is still in preview assume there are bugs with it so I will turn that off for now, really don't need it at the moment since my copilot is pretty simple
@nesrivastava Thanks for the response, ill enter a support request when I get the time. I was hoping someone had a quick trick or setting I was missing vs having to get on with support.
@jbonomo ,
There seems to be an issue. Can you open a support request so that we can investigate this matter in more detail?
