Remove App From Teams

(1) ShareShare

Posted on by 114
I have created a number of apps which I have shared and made available to be downloaded in Teams via the "Built with Power Platform" section and pinned to be accessed by users. Is there a way to "unshare" this app with Teams - i.e remove it from the "Built with Power Platform" section and essentially unshare it?

I shared these apps with Teams when in development and now I am deploying the apps to a production environment, and I want to minimise confusion or my users by not having two of the same app available to download.

Thanks
I have the same question (0)

How to remove the app from teams

Go to the team that you added the app to & Select the drop-down for the tab

    Team.

    Select tab.

    Confirm removal.

    To Unshare the App

Navigate to the Power Platform Environment -> Select the App -> 3 dots -> Share

    Manage Access

Remove the sharing of respected users

@MS.Ragavendar thanks, but I don't think I explained myself very well. I don't want to just unshare it, I want to actually remove it as an option to download in the "Built with Power Paltform" section of available apps in Teams desktop/browser.

When I deploy the app in the live environment the users will have to download it again - having two apps with the same name will cause confusion, and how will I know which one to tell my users to download?

I have understood the context in the different way OOPS, If you have two apps in the environment
    • Copy the sharing (access) to the new app from old app.
    • remove the access of the everyone from the old app.
So they can only see the one app, later everything is fine you proceed deletion of the old app.
