Up till now, I have developed & deployed a Canvas app/Dataverse solution in a single production environment. This has required a fair bit of care not to break the deployed app.

I have the opportunity to revert the current environment to a development environment & to create a solution/production environment for the deployed app. Can anyone advise how much extra time does it take to export/import solutions between environments, compared to simply clicking "publish" within the app. I guess I am mainly weighing up how much longer publishing to the production environment will take.
