Is there a way when building a canvas app to test that it works whilst offline?
Is there a button or setting which would simulate running the app offline?

There's no button or setting in the designer to simulate running an app offline.
If you're building a app on a Windows laptop PC connected through Wifi, a quick way to simulate offline/online is use the option in the statusbar to toggle airplane mode on and off.
@timl ah ok thanks, can offline data coming from an offline dataverse table be etnered into a collection?
I cannot tell if that's something that isn't possible, or if it's something I'm doing wrong
